Are they serious?

I found a video on the tube that surprised me.
Is it really necessary to do a simple job so difficult?
I do not know others' practices, but I can not spend as much time on such an easy job.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-8EbK7aQ0Q

Hi Tore,
Wow, that sounds really cold, -19! I thought it was cold in Ireland at 1 or 2 degrees. Yeah 99% of headstones in Ireland are imported from India and China, black granite, red also. THe Quarry industry here has gotten much smaller, a lot of limestone and a very small amount of slate.

I know what you mean aboubt the finaccial crisis, nobody wants to spend any money here also.

Have a grat week and talk soon,

Hey Tore,
Thanks for the comments, you're right, it's not a good way of making money, at all! but it does look good whn it's finished. THinking of jacking it in as bills etc.. these days aare so much and there is no time for anything else. Where are u based and are headstones your only output? Have a great week and talk soon,

Stu

Tore, thanks for sharing your videos and photos - I'm encouraging apprentices to do this, so they can provide evidence of their skills and progress quickly through their formal training. It's a great way to share knowledge, too.

In Queensland, we have a town called 'Eidsvold' named after Eidsvoll in Norway. "Eidsvold Siltstone" is quarried and milled there. Have a look at this page for a bit more...
