I've been working with stone for about seven years, I believe that integrity is something that must always be considered in every action! Stone work truly helped clarify this for me. It was a long and arduous journey for me, I found myself duped by so called stone masons, who were nothing more then opportunistic craft less people, who's soul purpose was to put as little effort into there work as they do in there lives and felt the world owed them something for it! Half a decade later and I found a true master and have been grateful ever since!
When not working for my master which will include all said tasks minus job litigation , design and layout of scope of work, working close with customers and giving detailed and understandable explanations of hows and whys to scope of work, communication is key! material sourcing and ordering, job set up and preparation, facing, cutting and laying of large dimensional stone,"many a chisel for may a stone" , share responsibilities in making mud and humping stone(no one task above or below anybody) , organizing layout of said work and last but never least keeping the job site clean and orderly on a daily basses.
I'm joining this site because...
Just looking for like minded masons! There is never an end to learning more about this job!
