Dale Lucke accepted the 2008 GLMMMQ Outstanding Stonemasonry Apprentice Award at the Stones Corner Masonic Centre this week.
Inaugurated in 2000, the award is presented each year by the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons (Queensland) to a stonemasonry apprentice studying at SkillsTech Australia.
The award consists of a bursary and an inscribed ceremonial gavel. Grand Master Edward O’Neill also presented him with a “mark” derived from Dale’s name.
Dale, who recently completed his apprenticeship at J.H. Wagner & Sons in Toowoomba, was selected because of his outstanding achievement during his apprenticeship.
